Introduction

La Jolla, San Diego, has a long stretch of beaches from Boomer beach down south to Torrey Pines State Beach up north that’s part of the beautiful Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve Park. The famous Torrey Pines Golf Course is located within the premises and can be visited first before making your way down to the serene beach.San Diego Zoo is a not-for-profit wildlife sanctuary in Balboa Park in the North of downtown San Diego, California. It is an abode to varied flora and fauna. It has over 3,500 rare and endangered animals that represent over 650 species and subspecies of wildlife. Moreover, there is a notable collection of botanical species featuring above 700,000 exotic plants.

One of the most popular attractions in the city, Balboa Park is an interesting cultural spot. It is home to 15 museums as well as beautifully planned gardens and the Zoo.

 

Spread in more than 1,200 acres of land, Balboa Park is known as a favorite gathering spot both for locals and tourists. Popular museums like San Diego Natural History Museum, San Diego Museum of Art, Ruben H. Fleet Science Center, San Diego Museum of Man and San Diego Model Railroad Museum fit into the park premises, drawing a lot of attention from visitors. Balboa Park also boasts of some great hiking trails, along with an IMAX Theatre, San Diego Zoo, and some Spanish architectural eye-candies.
